My Story

Hi everyone, my name is Lesley Holmes, and here's a little information about me:

I studied over 1200 hours on the intensive 2-year Clinical Canine Massage Practitioner Programme, where we covered:

·       Anatomy and Physiology

·       Advanced palpation skills

·       Gait and Palpation analysis

·       Body Mapping

·       Orthopaedic Conditions

·       Disciplines of massage, including Swedish, Deep Tissue and Sports Massage

·       Renowned Lenton method of Myofascial Release Techniques

This training is world renowned as being the best in the business, giving the ultimate treatment to your best friend.

I am a proud member of the Canine Massage Guild and I work to Best Practice. I respect and acknowledge the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and Exemption order 2015, only working under Veterinary Consent.

Visit the Canine Massage Guild Website where you can find me on the register and see how the Guild adheres to a strong code of ethics, clarity of law and professional standards, providing the best possible service to your Dog, you and your Vet.

As a Guild Member I will treat your Dog 3 times initially, this is enough time for your Dog to respond to treatment. If after 3 sessions your dog has not responded, I will refer your Dog back to the Vet.

If your Dog has benefited from Massage Therapy, you are welcome to discuss maintenance treatments with me.

The Guild has a CPD programme (Continuous Personal Development) which I am dedicated to. This demonstrates a professional commitment to excellence by continuing education and training for a minimum of 25 hour each year.

I hold Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance with Balens Insurance.
